My latest work, "Enigmatic Faces", explores portraits of captivating people in my life, whom I've met in cafes or on the street, from history or pop culture, whose lives, filled with mystery or controversy, have made our world a more intriguing and ~ if we're lucky~inspiring place to inhabit.

"Surrounded by the fine arts most of my life, I studied dance, piano & art from a very young age, taking off over 4 decades between paintings while pursuing a career in Pediatrics. Now, in addition to my husband/muse and our lovley dog,"Evie",
creating art has become the
heart & soul of my being.
My oil & acrylic paintings are eclectic, revealing elements of both impressionist and modern art influences, using bold color palates that attempt to create poignant images, including portraits, still-lifes & wildlife.
My latest body of work is called "Enigmatic Faces", studying the mysterious beauty inherent in people in my life, in history & pop culture."
